Renovate your staircase instead of replacing it
Is the structure of your staircase still in good condition, but are the treads worn or does the look no longer suit your interior? Then the entire staircase usually does not need to be replaced.
With a staircase renovation, we use the existing staircase as the base. We install new oak overlay treads on top, made exactly to measure.
The result is a completely different look without having to demolish the existing staircase.

Oak staircase renovation in Eindhoven
We deliberately chose oak. Oak has a natural appearance and is strong enough for daily use.
Our overlay treads consist of a strong plywood base with a 4 mm solid oak top layer. At the front, they are finished with a robust solid oak nosing.
The treads are pre-treated with Rubio Monocoat coloured oil. You can choose from more than 40 colours, from light natural oak to very dark shades.
This allows the staircase to be matched to your floor, furniture and doors, for example.

How much does a staircase renovation in Eindhoven cost?

Renovating an open staircase in Eindhoven
With an open staircase, the treads are visible from several sides. That is why an open staircase requires more finishing than a closed staircase.
We cover:
- the top of the tread;
- the nosing;
- the back of the tread;
- the visible underside with oak veneer.
All visible parts are finished in the same colour to create one calm, cohesive look.
An open staircase renovation is usually installed and finished within about a day and a half.
Would you prefer a closed staircase? We can also close an existing open staircase before the renovation.
Renovating a closed staircase in Eindhoven
With a closed staircase renovation, we cover the existing treads with oak overlay treads and also neatly finish the risers and underside.
For the risers, you can choose from options including:
- oak veneer;
- white HPL laminate;
- black HPL laminate.
Oak risers create a warm and classic look. White or black risers give the staircase a more modern contrast.
A closed staircase is normally installed and finished within one day.

How does a staircase renovation work?
After you let us know that you would like to renovate your staircase, we visit you at home. We inspect the existing staircase and discuss the desired design, colour and any additional options.
We bring material samples and a colour fan so you can see at home which combination best suits your interior.
Once everything is clear, we measure the staircase.
The oak components are then pre-finished in the selected colour. This allows us to work with prepared materials during installation.
A closed staircase is usually installed within one day. For an open staircase, we allow about a day and a half.
After installation, we review the result together and payment is completed. We do not require a deposit.
